Win a Signed Copy of Dogs by David Griffiths for PDSA

David and Lulu at the exhibition

Online store Pets Pyjamas held a reception early this month for the launch of David Griffiths' book Dogs, raising funds for the PDSA, the UK's leading veterinary charity. The exhibition called Inseparable: The shared lives of humans and dogs featured some of David's greatest shots, and the limited-edition book was on sale too.

Wunderdog is pleased to give away a copy signed by this remarkable man, who has so far raised nearly £2,000 for the PDSA. David started fundraising for the charity when his beloved dog Ted passed away after a short but devastating illness, suffering from a brain tumour. The PDSA treated Ted and ensured his last days were as good as they could be.

Ted had a powerful role in David's life. "Ted was a bundle of energy when I adopted him as a puppy from the 'Last Chance' dog rescue charity," he explains on his Just Giving fundraiser page. "I was not long out of hospital with mental health issues, and his personality and presence impacted instantly on my life. He gave me purpose and affection. He bossed me from day one. Good, because I needed direction."

Ted, the dog that changed David's life

David understood this extraordinary bond wasn't just between him and that little white dog, so he  started documenting other humans-and-dog couples he saw out on walks and in their homes.

He attended the exhibition with his new dog, Lulu, and signed our copy. For your chance to win it, either:
- reshare Ted's picture (above) and post from our wunderdog_mag Instagram
- or tweet the link the David's Just Giving page and add the hashtag #wunderdog. Here is the link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/David-Griffiths22
And while you have the link, why not make a donation to this wonderful campaign? It would make David's Christmas, and the PDSA's too.

The competition ends Sunday, 18 December, at midnight GMT. The book will be dispatched on Monday.
